Hofner Vintage 61 Cavern Bass Guitar
Beatle fans and enthusiasts: This vintage reissue has been painstakingly hand-crafted to be essentially the same as the Hofner that Paul McCartney himself first played.

Hofner Vintage 63 Deluxe Beatle
Bass Guitar
Although they share a similar body shape, the Deluxe is a distinct departure from the Vintage `63. The Deluxe is a thoroughly exclusive instrument.

Hofner Vintage 62 Bass Guitar

Based on the 1962 model Paul McCartney still uses today, the Vintage '62 has delighted Hofner aficionados by replicating details of the original. For example, the "strip" machine heads, the slot-head screws on the hardware, and the two piece neck are authentic touches that connect the instrument to an earlier time.

Hofner Vintage 63
Bass Guitar
The finest hand carved German Spruce on the top and sides and highly Flamed German Maple graces the back of this exceptional instrument.

Hofner Club Bass Guitar

With originals scarce and expensive, popular demand compelled Hofner to recreate the Club Bass 500/2. The New Club Bass borrows the feel, the tone, and many features from the Vintage '63 and combines them with a single - cutaway profile.

About Hofner Bass Guitars

Hofner Vintage 61 Cavern

Taking the name from the storied club in Liverpool where the Beatles performed early in their career, the original Cavern '61 models are highly prized and sought after by collectors. This early bass featured a flat back (unlike the arched back of its sibling models), two 'Diamond' - style pickups placed close together, an "old-school" Hofner logo, and a slightly fatter neck shape.

The limited edition cavern Bass is sought after by both Beatle collectors and dedicated bassists worldwide. As Beatle enthusiasts know, this is the bass Paul McCartney played in the Hamberg days, also showing up notably in the 1968 video, Revolution.

The beautiful detail of the Cavern Beatle Bass is apparent from the top down. You will find the finest hand carved German Spruce on the top and the sides and highly flamed German Maple graces the back of this exceptional instrument. The finish is a beautiful deep robust sunburst topped with a lustrous lacquer.

Perloid control panels and pick guard, as well as white body molding help to accent the beautiful deep robust sunburst finish.Cavern basses feature two diamond pickups placed together near the neck. This provides an extremely deep tone similar to the standard upright bass.

The Cavern has a three piece neck made of maple, beach, maple, offering incredible stability and striking appearance. The neck is slightly thicker by 1/8" from the top of the unbound rosewood fret board to the rear center of the back radius. This compared with the V63 H500 Bass. The slightly deeper neck is preferred by some players for its stability and substantial feel. The neck is a 3/4 scale or 30 inches. The headstock features the legendary Hofner logo and dual strip tuners.
